Who makes those scam popups?

So you got a fake virus message, but how did it get on to your computer and who is responsible for these messages?
PC Protection Help LLP create these fake messages. Not only do they create them, but they periodically log back into the PCs of the people they previously scammed in order to scam them again with yet more popups which the sneakily place on the browser.
Unusually, this group are in Jaipur (66/114, Pratap Nagar, Sanganer, Sector 11, Pratap Nagar, Jaipur, Rajasthan 302033, India), but they have a connection in the US. The owner's name appears on all invoices and he pays for their phone services.
The company website is compiko.online and their address also appears on fix69.com

Richard Pissdrinker- well let me tell you how he joined the "scam mob". He received the scam message like he said but immediately his criminal mind saw prospects - he contacted the scammers and did a deal to be a conduit in the US so together they would share the millions.

Common sense would tell you; why would competent "virus/popup" ask for you to clean itself from the system by providing the details of where to go for the cleanup.. the ultimate question should of been, "why is their info being provided in these popups if they are not the ones causing the problem and providing the solution all in one." And see how they work that logic into the conversation, as they are not part of any established antivirus service or browser plugin built inhouse.

You say that adblockers are not effective against these pop-ups yet I *never* see them in my extensive browsing of the Internet. I would advocate adblockers as being the *only* viable counter to this problem. Of course I would only suggest to people those adblockers that allow you to whitelist specific CSsun channels, naturally. ;)

The more I watch these, the more I start siding with scammers. Sure, I hate scammers and i think they're scum, BUT even more I hate people who would fall for such obvious scams. You don't have to be computer expert to know what's scam and what isn't. All you need to detect a scam, is common sense .. unfortunetely 99% of people nowdays have no common sense whatsoever. It's quite sad ... seeing the world turn into planet of the apes. Bottom line - if you get scammed by such obvious popup and "microsoft" support, then you DESERVE it. Still great job @Jim for exposing those frauds ... also it's pathetic how authorities don't care, but then again I understand them ... they don't steal and they don't driectly break any laws, so why would they care? Most governments like it when people are dumb. governments are no better either, they take our money (by force if necessary) and call it "tax" .. for what? i have never gotten anything from governments, no support, no help of any kind .. so why should i pay them? in my eyes governments are scammers too.

It's rare that I get these pop ups or any other virus notifications. But when I do, I quickly make pop corn grab a drink and go trolling. Me after 30 minutes: Maybe a reboot will get rid of the problem. Criminal: That won't work, you need to listen to me and pay. Me: Reboot cleared it up, bye. (restarted my VM) Criminal: Wait... what?
