LAWS ARE RESTRICTIONS AND CONTRACTS BETWEEN PARTIES. if a tree falls in the woods and there is no one around to hear it but you, did it make a sound? Or if I killed someone in the woods and no one else is there to report was there a crime? Did law stop me no did the law allow me no... Law is a contract that restricts freedom.

Fun legal fact about giving booze to a minor in Canada: It's illegal to sell something that will be consumed by a minor, but not to give it to your own kid. I work at a liquor store. I can face severe legal repercussions if you tell me you're giving booze to your kid and I still sell to you, because that's a third party purchase for a minor. But you are within your rights to allow your kid to have some of your alcohol. Just don't tell me at the checkout, or I'm obligated to stop you.

To the alcohol law stuff, alcohol (specifically ethanol) has to be administered to people who have ingested anti-freeze or ethylene glycol. This is because ethylene glycol is harmless at first but is turned extremely toxic when it is broken down by alcohol dehydrogenase enzymes in your liver. However, alcohol dehydrogenases are more attracted to ethanol than ethylene glycol. So...you must drink ethanol (drinking alcohol) to distract the enzymes and allow for the ethylene glycol to safely pass through your body. This is the only excuse to give babies, children, or pets alcohol (WITH DOCTOR OR VET SUPERVISION AND APPROVAL!!)

Not only can you give your minor children alcohol in missouri but we can legally make our own moonshine in missouri. Up to 100 gallons per adult and up to 200 gallons per household with 2 or more adults per year. I make my own simply to keep my family traditions and skills alive.

yo...... 2 minutes in.... I love you. I appreciate the sarcasm on why they banned women being topless in public. we had a woman sue the one township (idk if she won or not I cant remember). she was publicly breastfeeding her child and someone complained. police told her she had to leave the beach/playground.... NJ has protected Womens breast feeding rights since 1997. its ridiculous. I hate hearing old people having something to say about breast feeding as if they weren't breast fed lol. born during the depression and you think yo mama didn't breast feed? its literally what our species does as you said; mammalians are defined by the fact they have MAMMARY glands. people can drink cows milk but a baby cant breast feed when they're hungry because some woman is insecure about her husband looking at someones titties. girl he's doing it anyway whether a woman is breast feeding or not so thats an issue you need to take up with him, not harass a woman doing what she should (feeding her child when theyre hungry) and her hungry baby. I have mad respect for you because of these statements alone! thank you for advocating.

I laughed when you suggested that the simple and obvious truth that women have breasts, and the societal truth that it affords them more social protections under the law are nothing more than "simple stereotypes". Have you honestly ever heard of a man suing a woman for sexual harassment because she looked at his chest? Let alone if she decided to cop a feel of his torso or biceps without expressly asking permission beforehand? Or for sex discriminatory body shaming/harassment for teasing a man for being fat? I havent. And if i had, i seriously doubt it would hold up in either a court of law, or even the court of public opinion

OK, suppose someone puts a dead person on the ballot in Kansas's gubernatorial race. George Washington, for example. Would even that be legal? I mean, it doesn't seem like a good idea, but I wonder how far the lack of regulation extends in this context... and how many people in Kansas would vote for a man that they know is dead.

The first example can literally be refuted by the fact that male genitalia is not permitted to be shown in public and men can not strip down and reveal their sexual organ in front of people in public with very extreme exceptions just as women can't either. This goes for anything that is considered of sexual quality including female breasts. But hey, if you want to indecently flaunt your body in front of others and their children to prove you have power over your body go ahead and embarrass yourself, but don't go crying to the courts or this lawyer to represent you when you inevitably get yourself raped by flaunting what many male predators would get aroused by.

So as far as the Zone of Death in Idaho, apparently some one tried to use the argument that he could not have a fair trail since it did not take place in Montana, siting the paper and the 6th amendment. The judge ruled against the argument and the trial took place. It never went to the circuit court for appeal and thus there is currently precedent to go against the 6th amendment in extreme cases.

I grew up in NY, when I was little I always used to joke that I was going to go drink whatever random bottle I grabbed from the liquor cabinet and nobody could stop me, and I was always greeted with an "Okay, go for it, you probably aren't going to like it" and... well, they were right, especially when I was ~10. Really made things less interesting when there were a dozen or so bottles I could help myself to at any time. It's probably at least partially related that I'm in my mid-30s and have never drank to excess. What's the point? It's just alcohol.

About the drinking underage laws, you forgot Wisconsin, if with a parent or guardian you can drink if you are under the age of 21. from my understanding you have to be in the presence of a parent or guardian to be able to drink underage, and that includes bars and in private residences
