I am born and raised in california and i dont like in n out I only go when someone im hanging out wants to go, i have not ate fries in 2 years now but even back when i did i never liked their fries they do taste like cardboard, next to my in n out there is a mcdonalds and carls jr so when my sister and i use to go we would get their burger and drive thru either one of the two to get their fries, what am i saying i dont really like it at all i wont go by choice even their burgers have a weird taste to them like cinnamon🤣🤣

In n out manager here: For the vegetarian options you can order it 2 ways. Either (1) “grilled cheese” which comes with spread, tomato, lettuce and cheese with the option of onions. And (2) a “veggie burger” which is the one with no cheese. Also you can definitely add on whatever you want. Pickles, chilis, mustard, ketchup, etc..
