MKHB, you're wrong, this is the most hyped piece of equipment all decade not all year! It looked so beautiful. I can't wait. And for THOSE saying its really big and heavy. Number one, it's still smaller than a PC tower. Number two a bigger case means bigger fan and more airflow. Number 3, weight equals quality when it comes to high end electronics. That means that it has big fan and beefy aluminum metal heat sinking. Its dwarfs any other console. Fitting, it looks a like a beautiful sky scraper on the DUBAI skyline! Even the swivel stand gets it a half inch off of your desk, for increased air. Basically this all adds up to a solid and cool console!

Very good video reflecting on Sony’s inadequacies regarding launch events/timing and company image. When I was in high school my first HDD MP3 player was the Sony Walkman NW-HD1. Everyone had an iPod and I wanted something different for the sake of it plus audio quality differences if I recall correctly... Long story short Sony’s HDD Walkman’s were a flop even after offering colors with NW-HD2, NW-HD3 and NW-HD5. I guess skipping 4 (NW-HD4) was an unlucky number in Japan haha. The iPod truly was the halo product that got me into the Apple ecosystem. Watching charismatic Steve Jobs sell generation after generation of iPods at keynotes was like catching a fish without a hook. Beyond having some interest in Macs while getting aquatinted with Apple it was when the iPhone was announced that my appreciation for Apple had solidified. It’s been decades now watching Apple grow and refine their product line. Experiencing the ownership of iPod, Mac, Airport Express, Time Capsule, Apple TV Gen 1-5, iPhone, iPad, HomePod, AirPods Pro. Ultimately no well equipped phone from a yesteryear brand that may still be competitive in other segments will ever have me think twice about switching from my iPhone. Not just because I’m “locked in Apple’s ecosystem” but because I’ve been very impressed by an experience from A to Z that a brand like Sony makes me think of boobtube TVs and VCR/VHS. PlayStation and Blu-ray feel like separate entities. Tim Cook once said everything Apple makes can be placed on a single table. No kitchen/laundry/utility appliances. No bloodbath TV display market involvement. Apple has the most buttoned up product line up that didn’t get distracted by greed.

I want a oneplus 7pro, as I don't care one iota about the camera, but right now I am using a Motorola G power. Outstanding phone for 250. 9hrs SOT, decently fast, good finger print scanner, and a good screen (wish it was oled). I don't ever want to waste my money on a flagship phone, I made the mistake of buying the 6s on launch back in the day, and regret it to this day. Cheap phones or referbished phones for life!!!
